| Over twenty years of wonderful baseball that included MLB players...Ryan Zimmerman (Tallgren Games), Brian McNichols, Todd Rizzo, J Jamison, Jeff Baker, Ernie Baker and a long list of minor league players & college players...so many great games. The opportunity to play some of the best baseball, in the world, just short of pro-ball, all right here in Prince William County. The level of play and quality of the talent/program requires the best in college and professional players. Over the years, many of the Iron players turned down opportunities with the Cape, Alaska, Valley and Clark and many pro players played with Iron while they worked on their game between professional opportunities.
Iron has been some of the best times of my life and I wish the same opportunity for any of you that truly love the game. Funny...I don't have all of the numbers...but there are few college programs that have as many MLB players that have played with Iron or the Tallgren...let alone the players that advanced into professional baseball. I think that says something about the quality of play and players.
